Zusammenfassung

Kolloidale Plasmaersatzmittel sind aufgrund ihrer unbegrenzten Verfügbarkeit und ihrer sofortigen Applizierbarkeit nach wie vor Volumentherapeutika der ersten Wahl. Im wesentlichen bestehen sie aus Wasser, Elektrolyten und Kolloiden. In Abhängigkeit von der Herkunft der Kolloide unterscheidet man zwischen körpereigenen (homologen) und körperfremden (heterologen) Plasmaersatzmitteln.
