Abstract

Cell-analytical and cell-kinetical studies on hematopoietic and stromal cells in the red pulp of rats of different age groups were carried out by means of semithin sections and semithin section autoradiographs. Due to a high light-optical resolution, this method allows a reliable cell classification, in contrast to stripping film autoradiographs from paraffin sections.
