Zusammenfassung

Das blutende Gastroduodenalulcus ist eine ernste und lebensbedrohende Komplikation der Ulcuskrankheit. Im Verlauf der Ulcuskrankheit nimmt das Blutungsrisiko mit der Häufigkeit der Ulcusschübe zu, doch kann sich eine Ulcuskrankheit auch erstmals mit einer Blutung manifestieren. Unter den Blutungsursachen im oberen Gastrointestinaltrakt übertreffen Blutungen aus Ulcera ventriculi oder duodeni zahlenmäßig solche aus anderen Blutungsquellen (Tabelle 1) [1, 9, 11, 15, 17, 36]. Aus praktisch-therapeutischen Gründen sollten zur Beurteilung blutender Gastroduodenalulcera die von Forrest et al. [15] vorgeschlagenen Kriterien herangezogen werden, die auf dem endoskopischen Befund während der Blutung oder nach eingetretenem Blutungsstillstand beruhen.
