Histogenesis of T Cells

  • Conference paper
Lymphoproliferative Diseases of the Skin

Abstract

Some principles of lymphoid tissue formation and lymphocyte differentiation are described. The emergence of the T cell system is detailed morphologically and functionally, including recent findings of surface marker studies, developmental approaches by electron microscopy, and characterizations and effects of humoral factors. The most typical associations of stationary cells and free cell populations are discussed with respect to malignant nonHodgkin lymphomas of the skin.
