Zusammenfassung

Der oxytozische Effekt therapeutisch zugeführter Prostaglandine der PGE- und PGF-Gruppe ist klinisch erprobt und wissenschaftlich umfassend untersucht. Über die Rolle der endogenen Prostaglandine bei der Wehenregulation des Menschen ist dagegen vergleichsweise wenig bekannt. Untersuchungen liegen hierzu vor von Keirse (5), Geisthövel (3), Mitchell et al. (6), Karim (4), Sharma (9), Cornely u. Hackbarth (2).
