Abstract
Recent literature indicated a polyphasic tectonic evolution of the Serido Scheelite Province in Northeast Brazil. Structural, textural and crystallographic data obtained during systematic detailed mapping in Brejui Mine, near Currais Novos, Brazil, support the hypothesis that scheelite was originally formed prior to or during the metamorphism and the first isoclinal folding phase. Remobilization and recrystallization took place mainly related with a third, normal folding phase and are responsible for the formation of the richer ore shoots in Brejui Mine.
