Abstract

Microscopic and X-ray diffraction studies have determined a complex hydrothermal paragenesis associated with a mylonitized muscovite-gneiss. The main gangue mineral is dolomite which as vein-lets invades the mylonitized gneiss. The main ore minerals determined ore-microseopically, by X-ray diffraction, and by microprobe scanning are, sphalerite, wurtzite, galena, chalcopyrite, tetra-hedrite (fahlore) and, associated with the sphalerite/wurtzite, hawleyite.
