Abstract

The Ising model [1] has found more and more applications in many fields of science. Nevertheless the 3-dimensional model remains a puzzle for physicists since the celebrated ONSAGER solution [2] for the 2-dimensional case. At present time most of our knowledge on the 3-dimensional model comes mainly from various series expansions. Inasmuch as every new term in the series brings about a bit of exact information, the interest in seeking approximate solutions for the Ising model has been going down.
