Zusammenfassung

Es gibt wohl kein Gebiet in der Pädiatrie, in dem die Effizienz sonographischer Diagnostik so offenkundig ist, wie bei Erkrankungen des Harntraktes. Einerseits eignet sich die Methode aus physikaüschen Gründen sehr gut für die Untersuchung von Niere und Harnblase, andererseits ist man angesichts der Vieldeutigkeit nephrologisch-urologischer Symptome auf ein risikoloses bildgebendes Verfahren besonders angewiesen.
