Primate Locomotor Systems: Summary of Results of the Pre-Congress Symposium in Pisa

  • Conference paper

Part of the book series: Proceedings in Life Sciences ((LIFE SCIENCES))

Abstract

We organized the symposium on primate locomotor systems in order to share contemporary knowledge and to identify important problems for future research on primate positional behavior and functional morphology. It was held at the Institutes of Zoology and Anthropology at Pisa University, which contributed greatly to the success of the conference. On behalf of the participants, we would like to thank them for their efforts. Herebelow we present commentaries on each paper that was presented in the symposium.
