Zusammenfassung

Die Pharmakokinetik, d. h. die Beschreibung von Konzentrationsabläufen im Organismus mit Hilfe mathematischer Modelle, ist ursprünglich besonders für Chemotherapeutika entwickelt worden; später sind dann Arzneimittelgruppen wie die Herzglykoside, Antiepileptika, Antikoagulanzien und Antirheumatika untersucht worden. Bei allen diesen Arzneimitteln stellten die ermittelten pharmakokinetischen Parameter eine wertvolle Grundlage für die klinische Dosierung dar.
