Die intravenöse Narkose

Zusammenfassung

Folgende Forderungen sind an ein ideales, intravenös zu applizierendes Anästhetikum zu stellen:

  1. 1.

    rasche und ohne Exzitation erfolgende Einleitung,

  2. 2.

    gute Steuerbarkeit — Möglichkeit, je nach Operationserfordernis die Narkose zu verlängern, d. h. kurze Halbwertszeit, kein Hang-over,

  3. 3.

    neben hypnotischer auch analgetische Wirkung,

  4. 4.

    keine Herz-Kreislauf-Belastung,

  5. 5.

    keine Atemdepression,

  6. 6.

    keine Histaminfreisetzung,

  7. 7.

    gute Venenverträglichkeit, möglichst wasserlöslich,

  8. 8.

    keine Metabolisierung in der Leber.
