Zusammenfassung

Die Versuche, den Schmerz durch chemisch definierte Verbindungen zu beeinflussen, lassen sich bis in die Anfänge des vorigen Jahrhunderts zurückverfolgen (20). Trotz intensiver wissenschaftlicher Bemühungen ist aber bis heute die Pharmakotherapie des Schmerzes noch nicht befriedigend gelöst.
