Zusammenfassung
Die Erkenntnis, daß eine Allgemeinnarkose die Funktion des Immunsystems bei Patienten beeinträchtigt, fand ihren Niederschlag in zahlreichen Veröffentlichungen in den letzten Jahren. So konnte gezeigt werden, daß nach Allgemeinnarkosen und Operation sämtliche Funktionen des Immunsystems wie Gesamtzellzahl B-Lymphozyten, T-Lymphozyten sowie Phagocytose supprimiert sind [4].
