Abstract

Right atrium-pulmonary artery or right atrium-right ventricle anastomosis has proved to be an excellent technique for the surgical management of different congenital heart defects. Its application in the treatment of tricuspid atresia (11) has been of significant importance. Although long-term results have yet to be carefully evaluated, the follow-up for more than 5 Years of several operated children has demonstrated that a certain number of selected patients have benefited greatly from this procedure.
