Abstract

By the neotectonic movement we mean in the main.geological tectonic movement during the Quaternary period. We have found that it affected the soil forming factors and soil developing processes quite markedly. We have already published some papers in this respect (1,2). Based on that, this report further discusses the effects of neotectonic movement on the development of paddy soils.
