Bromage: I don’t think we have all the evidence yet. But I think, if you live in North America, which has a very strict medicolegal environment, where you are at risk to find yourself in a court of law if you are not very careful, I think from your point of view you are safer, if you do not use spinal and epidural anaesthesia with low-dose heparin, because, if anything happens to the patient, it may not be your fault. The patient can get an epidural haematoma just with general anaesthesia, but, if you have given spinal or epidural and if you live in North America, you will lose a very large quantity of money. In Germany this is, maybe, a little different.
