Effects of 13-cis-Retinoic Acid on Sebaceous Glands in Humans

Abstract

The beneficial effects of 13-cis-retinoic acid in acne patients (5, 8, 10), its effects on sebaceous glands of the hamster flank organ (1) and the ear lobes (6), and sebum production in humans (9) are well documented.
