Zusammenfassung

1973 beschrieb OPELZ (4) aufgrund retrospektiver Studien den günstigen Effekt von Bluttransfusionen auf die Überlebenszeit bei nachfolgender Nierentransplantation. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt galt die Bluttransfusion, ähnlich wie Schwangerschaften und möglicherweise die Exposition gegen bestimmte Bakterienstämme, als eine Ursache für eine Prä-Sensibilisierung gegen Transplantate. Aus diesem Grunde vermied man nach Möglichkeit,Dialysepatienten Bluttransfusionen zu verabreichen.
