Zusammenfassung

Zur Induktion eines reversiblen Herzstillstandes sind in den letzten Jahren zahlreiche Verfahren entwickelt worden. Nicht nur am hypertrophierten Herzen stellen erhöhte Infarktgefährdung (1) und gesteigerte Flimmerbereitschaft bei chirurgischen Interventionen ein besonderes Problem dar. Trotz Mypkardprotektion mit kardioplegischer Lösung (CPL) in Form von orthograder Coro- narperfusion persistiert die elektrische Aktivität in einzelnen, distal von Coronarverschlüssen gelegenen Arealen oft länger als 5 min. Zeitlich verlängertes Flimmern weist auf den ungenügenden Myokardschutz solcher Bezirke hin.
