Abstract
Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) causes in man infectious mononucleosis as a “primary” disease. Burkitt’s Lymphoma and Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma may be considered as “secondary” diseases developing only in persons with long preceeding EBV infection.
