Zusammenfassung

Der Erfolg einer allogenen Organtransplantation ist abhängig von der Kontrolle der immunologischen Abstoßungsreaktion durch eine immunsuppressive Behandlung des Empfangerorganismus. Eine unspezifische Immunsuppression wird durch eine Reihe sehr unterschiedlicher Maßnahmen wie Behandlung mit ionisierenden Strahlen, Depletion lymphatischer Zellen mittels Ductus thoracicus Drainage, Thymektomie und Splenektomie und vor allem durch medikamentöse Behandlung mit verschiedenen Substanzen erzielt. Tabelle 1 zeigt eine Übersicht über die zahlreichen Stoffe, für die eine immunsuppressive Wirkung nachgewiesen werden konnte. Die wichtigsten Gruppen sind alkylierende Substanzen, Antimetabolite, Corticosteroide und Antilymphocytenseren.
