Die Plasmaaustausch-Behandlung bei Myasthemia gravis und anderen neuropsychiatrischen Erkrankungen

Zusammenfassung

In den vergangenen Jahren wurden bei einer Reihe von neuropsychiatrischen Erkrankungen Untersuchungen zur Wirksamkeit der Plasmaaustausch-Behandlung durchgeführt (Tabelle 1). Durch wiederholten Plasmaaustausch lassen sich die Verläufe der Myasthenia gravis [1, 5, 17, 21, 25, 27, 29, 30], der Heredopathia

atactica polyneuritiformis (Refsum) [9, 14] und des Hyperviskositäts-Koma bei maligner Paraproteinämie [28] günstig beeinflussen. Beim Guillain-Barré-Syndrom und bei einigen Formen von chronischer Polyneuropathie [3, 4, 8] läßt sich durch den Plasmaaustausch wahrscheinlich eine positive Krankheitsentwicklung erreichen. Zweifelhaft und umstritten sind die Ergebnisse bei Polymyositis [7], multipler Sklerose [6] und Schizophrenie [13]. Die Behandlungsversuche bei myatropher Lateralsklerose [24] verliefen negativ.
