Kalziumantagonisten in der Arrhythmiebehandlung

Zusammenfassung

Die sog. Kalziumantagonisten (z. B. Verapamil, D600, Nifedipin, Prenyl-amin, Fendilin, Perhexilin, Diltiazem; s. [18]) hemmen am Herzen den langsamen Einwärtsstrom, der unter physiologischen Bedingungen im wesentlichen von Ca-Ionen (Ca2+) getragen wird. Ursache für diese Wirkung der Kalziumantagonisten ist die Blockade des „langsamen Kanals“, nicht aber der Bewegung des Kalziumions an sich.
