Zusammenfassung

Blutige Diarrhöen sind das Leitsymptom der Colitis ulcerosa. Leibschmerzen, Fieber, Gewichtsverlust, Tenesmen und Übelkeit mit Brechneigung werden als weitere Symptome angegeben. Die Konstellation der häufigsten klinischen Symptome ist in der epikritischen Darstellung der Erfahrungen verschiedener Arbeitsgruppen übereinstimmend zu finden und läßt eine erhebliche Variation des Schweregrades erkennen, je nachdem, ob in den Behandlungszentren schwerkranke oder leichtkranke Patienten überwiegen (GOLIGHER et al. 1968; SLOAN et al. 1950; KIRSNER u. SHORTER 1975; MüLLER-WIELAND 1972; FAHRLäNDER 1976).
