Zusammenfassung

Verschiedene abnorme Immunphänomene werden bei Patienten mit Colitis ulcerosa beobachtet. So wird die Bedeutung eines veränderten Immunsystems für die Pathogenese dieser Erkrankung seit längerem diskutiert (Übersicht: KIRSNER 1970; KIRSNER u. SHORTER 1975; JEWELL u. HODGSON 1976; PERLMANN et al. 1976; GEBBERS u. OTTO 1977; KRAFT 1979). Allerdings sind die meisten diesbezüglichen Befunde an zirkulierenden Leukozyten und durch serologische und in vitro Untersuchungen erhoben worden. Abnorme systemische Immunreaktionen, ob humoral oder zellulär, reflektieren nicht unbedingt auch Veränderungen der Schleimhaut. Es muß deshalb die Frage bislang offen bleiben, ob es sich hierbei um pathogenetisch bedeutsame Befunde oder nur um Sekundärreaktionen (Epiphänomene) handelt (JEWELL u. HODGSON 1976; AUER 1979; KRAFT 1979; s. hierzu auch S. 361ff.).
