Zusammenfassung
Einen wichtigen Stoffwechselweg zur Bereitstellung der im Dipalmitoyllecithin, dem Hauptbestandteil des die Alveolen auskleidenden und stabilisierenden Lungensurfactant, veresterten Palmitinsäure stellt die durch die pulmonale Lipoproteinlipase katalysierte Hydrolyse des Triglyceridanteiles der Very Low Density Lipoproteine des zirkulierenden Blutes dar (1). Es könnte daher die posttraumatisch zu beobachtende Surfactantsynthesestörung (2), zumindest partiell, durch eine Änderung der Lungenlipoproteinlipaseaktivität bedingt sein.
