Abstract

Although it is well known that the control of differential gene activity plays an important role in plant development, our knowledge of such mechanisms is still very small. Therefore it seems necessary to sum up our knowledge in this field from time to time. One of the systems involved in regulation of gene activity may be that of chromosomal proteins.
