Zusammenfassung
Trotz beträchtlicher Zunahme vieler Detailkenntnisse in den letzten Jahren sind die Entstehung und Entwicklung maligner Erkrankungen und damit auch die Ätiologie und Pathogenese der malignen Non-Hodgkin-Lymphome (NHL) letztlich noch unbekannt. Wie schon am Beispiel der akuten und chronischen Leukämien aufgezeigt wurde (s. in diesem Handbuch, Bd. II/6, S. 49 ff.), waren lediglich Einblicke in Teilaspekte und ursächliche Kofaktoren der Leukämoge-nese bzw. Karzinogenese möglich. Diese Erkenntnisse basieren wesentlich auf tierexperimentellen Daten und den sich daraus ergebenden Rückschlüssen auf analoge humanpathologische Verhältnisse.
