Some Results of Vaccination Against Vibriosis in Brittany

Abstract

Although marine fish farming has been prasctised in France since the early 1970s, vibriosis was first reported in 1977. The infected animals were rainbow trout raised in brackish water. Since then, the number of reported cases in trout and other species has increased each year, although it still remains infrequent.
