Zusammenfassung
Zur Behebung der arteriellen Hypoxämie und der kardiovaskulären Folgen, einschließlich des Schocks, sowie zur Abwendung pulmonaler Komplikationen der Lungenembolie muß die rasche Beseitigung des verschließenden Embolus bzw. die Verhütung weiterer appositioneller Thrombosierung der Lungenstrombahn und die Vermeidung weiterer Embolisierung erstes Gebot sein.
