Zusammenfassung

Der akuten oder subakuten tiefen Thrombophlebitis vor allem von Bein- und Beckenvenen können zwei gravierende Komplikationen folgen: Die Lungenembolie als gefurchtete Frühkomplikation sowie die chronisch-venöse Insuffizienz als Spätkomplikation und therapeutische Crux.
