Zusammenfassung
Von den Arbeitsgruppen um Dudrick [6] und Copeland [4], Fischer [7] sowie Solassol [10] wird seit fast 10 Jahren über Erfolge mit der präoperativen Hyperalimentation bei Tumorpatienten berichtet. Ihre Veröffentlichungen gipfeln einheitlich in folgenden Aussagen:

Durch präoperative Hyperalimentation wurde in vielen Fällen ein operativer Eingriff überhaupt erst möglich.

2.
Die Sicherheit des chirurgischen Vorgehens wurde vergrößert.

3.
Die postoperative Komplikationsrate konnte erheblich gesenkt werden.
