Abstract

After 30 years the International Conference on Plant Growth Substances has returned to Madison, and after the same number of years attention has again been given to the practical uses of the science that interests us all. Perhaps this 30 years should be called on to supply the historical perspective to help evaluate the past development and the future of plant growth substances in agriculture.
