Zusammenfassung

Im Gegensatz zum Ulcus duodeni ist die chirurgische Behandlung des Ulcus ventriculi in den letzten Jahren nicht sehr ausführlich diskutiert worden. Dies liegt sieherlich nur teilweise an den verbesserten konservativen Behandlungsmaßnahmen, denn eine definitive medikamentöse kausale Therapie vor allem zur Verhinderung von Rezidivulcera ist bisher nicht bekannt. Vielmehr war die Magenresektion in der chirurgischen Behandlung des Ulcus ventriculi bis heute das Standardverfahren, das von den meisten Chirurgen perfekt beherrscht wurde und gute Ergebnisse lieferte. In den letzten Jahren ist jedoch von verschiedenen Seiten erwogen worden, nichtresezierende Verfahren in die chirurgische Therapie des Ulcus ventriculi einzubringen.
