Abstract

From 1959–1968 hydrocephalus in 189 consecutive patients was treated surgically. Children with hydrocephalus due to intracranial tumor are not included in this series. The follow-up period for the younqest patient is now 10 years and 20 years for the oldest. How have these patients, some of whom are already teenagers, developed?
