Relation between Phenomenological and Quantum Chemical Theories
At first glance one may be tempted to believe that quantum chemical theories make phenomenological “theories” which involve doubtful or sometimes even completely wrong ideas about the origin of the phenomena superfluous. But looking at this problem more thoroughly this conclusion has proved to be rather superficial.
