Zusammenfassung

Jede medikamentöse Behandlung der koronaren Herzkrankheit setzt die gleichzeitige Durchführung allgemeiner Therapieprinzipien — einschließlich Fragen der Ernährung, der Bewegung, der Genußmittel und der psychosozialen Situation — voraus. Das Therapiekonzept muß dem individuellen Patienten und seiner besonderen Erkrankung angepaßt sein. Da es sich fast immer um therapeutische Langzeitmaßnahmen handelt, sollten diese vor Einleitung mit dem Patienten besprochen werden. Es ist nicht entschuldbar, daß Kranke mit dem gesamten Arsenal der sogenannten koronarwirksamen Substanzen behandelt werden, ehe eine klare Diagnose gestellt und aufgrund dieser eine systematische Therapie geplant und dem Patienten verständlich gemacht wird.
