Contribution of CT of the Study of Syringomyela as Seen in 40 Adult Cases of this Disease

  • Conference paper
Book cover Computerized Tomography

Abstract

Several dates stand out as regards CT semiology of syringomyela : in 1975 Di Chiro demonstrated a spontaneously visible cyst ; in 1978 Forbes and Isherwood demonstrated penetration of metrizamide in the cyst (one case out of twenty). In this same year, Aubin, Vignaud and coll. showed the Interest of deferred CTs for studying progressive penetration of metrizamide into the cyst.
