Abstract

The first, relatively low-potency imidazole derivative for the local treatment of dermatomycoses was chlormidazole (see Sect. 2.5.2). This substance was used at 2.5% to 5% concentration in ointments, creams and solutions. Chlormidazole was not used on the mucous membranes.
