Zusammenfassung
Dieses und das folgende Kapitel sind für ein geldtheoretisches Lehrbuch ziemlich „ungewöhnliche“ Kapitel. Soll sich die Geldtheorie ausschließlich auf geschlossene Wirtschaften beziehen, so daß der außenwirtschaftliche Aspekt der Geldtheorie die Domäne der „internationalen Geldtheorie“ (international monetary economics oder monetäre Außenwirtschaftslehre bzw. Währungstheorie) ist? Es sei von vornherein festgestellt, daß es in dieser Beziehung keine eindeutige „Lehrmeinung“ gibt. Hinzu kommt, daß der internationale Aspekt der Geldtheorie im Vergleich zur Geldtheorie geschlossener Wirtschaften zur Zeit erst fragmentarisch entwickelt ist, so daß kein geschlossenes Bild der „internationalen Geldtheorie“ aufgestellt werden kann.
