Abstract

The pathogenesis and often the etiology of aplastic anemia is still obscure [1, 4, 10]. However, it is generally recognised that there is a basic defect in the pluripotent stem cell compartment which results in a diminished feeding of later, more differentiated compartments, eventually leading to a failure of the production of mature cells.
