Zusammenfassung

Beim Aneurysma handelt es sich um eine lokalisierte, abnorme Dilatation des Arterienlumens. Die aneurysmatische Erweiterung muß von Gefäßwindungen oder Schleifenbildungen sowie von einer diffusen Erweiterung des Lumens unterschieden werden. Arteriovenöse und rankenförmige Angiome, die bei Besprechung arterieller Aneurysmen gewöhnlich mitbeschrieben sind, werden in Kapitel 26 behandelt.
