Remarks on Frequency and Pathogenesis of Primary Gastric Stump Cancer

Abstract

Since gastric resection of the Billroth-II type has been standard procedure in surgical treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcer disease in the last 40 years, an increase of primary gastric stump carcinomas can be observed.
