Man kann die coronare Herzkrankheit definieren als Mißverhältnis zwischen Sauerstoffangebot und Sauerstoffbedarf im Herzmuskel. Bedarf ist abhängig von Belastung, das Angebot im wesentlichen von der Coronardurchblutung.
