Abstract
Ventricular arrhythmia frequently complicates ventricular aneurysm in coronary heart disease [1,2]. The poor prognosis of recurrent venĀtricular tachycardia refractory to medical treatment is well known. Since the first clinical report [3] of successful control of recurĀrent ventricular tachycardia by resection of a left ventricular aneurysm, surgical treatment is considered to be indicated to abolish ventricular arrhythmia refractory to medical therapy.
