Zusammenfassung
Komazustände in der anästhesiologischen Intensivbehandlung sind in der Mehrzahl traumatischer oder hypoxämischer Genese, wobei der Hypoxämie in der Regel zirkulatorische und mechanische Störfaktoren zugrunde liegen. Patienten mit sogenannter einfacher Bewußtlosigkeit, d. h. ohne eigentliches Koma, werden selten und dann auch nur zur Beobachtung in die Intensivstation verlegt.
