Zusammenfassung

In verschiedenen Geweben, vor allem aber in Epithelien und soliden parenchymatösen Zellverbänden, femer bei Endothelien und Meso-thelien, bestehen physiologischerweise interzelluläre Verbindungen und Haftstellen, deren Integrität nicht nur für den Zusammenhalt der Zellen und die Abdichtung des Interzellulärraumes, sondern z. T. auch für den Stoffaustausch sowie — bei besonderen Zellarten — die elektrotonische Koppelung benachbarter Elemente Bedeutung hat. Eine schematische Darstellung dieser Strukturen und ihrer Störungen ist in Abb. 40 wiedergegeben.
