Zusammenfassung
Die Dynamik der Antikörperbildung im Organismus äußert sich in zwei Formen der Immunantwort, die als Primär- und Sekundär-Antwort bezeichnet werden. In beiden Fällen hängt das Ausmaß der Immunantwort von der Empfindlichkeit der Nachweismethode ab. Wird daher der Titer oder die Menge der Antikörper gemessen, müssen wir uns der Tatsache bewußt sein, daß wir nur die Antikörper erfassen, die mit dem Antigen unter den gewählten Bedingungen reagieren.
