The Combined Space Method for Composite Layers: by Matrix Inversion

Abstract

To treat an atomic layer with more than one atom per unit cell (a composite layer) one may use a matrix inversion formalism, expressed in angular momentum space, applied to the subplanes constituting that composite layer [12], generalized [13] to include incidence of the plane waves k g ± for all beams g.
